Step into the holidays with purpose! Our Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy Intensives offer a short block of individual intervention, ideal for clients waiting for regular therapy appointments or as an alternative to regular sessions during the school term.
Holiday Intensives include an intake phone call with the child or young person’s parent/caregiver and a short block of 4 – 6 appointments which provide targeted intervention to work towards the child or young person’s short-term goals. A key focus of Bright Door’s Holiday Intensives is equipping families with practical strategies and supports to implement at home and in everyday environments.

To attend the Building Blocks group program, your child will first need to complete our ‘Intro to Building Blocks’ program. This is a short block of individual intervention (3 x individual therapy sessions with our certified Lego-based therapy facilitator) and includes an intake phone call with the child’s parent/caregiver.

Bright Door’s evidence-based Building Blocks program enables children to participate in a small group that fosters social collaboration and teamwork, through the use of LEGO® bricks. Children will have a blast working together, each taking on different roles to build incredible designs together, with the support from our certified Lego-based therapy facilitator.
The program is beneficial for children who experience social communication challenges (including Autism, ADHD, anxiety, and Developmental Language Disorder), and is based on a neuro-affirming practice approach. Through structured and unstructured play opportunities, participants of the program will have lots of opportunity to make new friends and create positive connections!
